The Development CAFE membership is free and aimed at bridging policy makers with grassroots. It mainly operates through the efforts of volunteer moderators who take pains in collecting information and posting them on the web for the benefit of group members. The CAFE has helped many of its members in acquiring jobs, research funding and internships. To maintain a database and to collect and disseminate information a lot of research is involved and it costs us money and time even though the information is distributed free of cost. Though it is not mandatory, you can be involved in this process too. This can be by way of volunteering to moderate, collecting and disseminating information. Starting topics of discussion and even financially for setting up and maintaining a website or e-journal. Any innovative ideas from your side are always welcome.
